Our Software
Computers and Enrichment uses only age-appropriate software with an educational focus. The programs combine learning activities with play that is both entertaining and educational. It's a formula that motivates children to want to learn.
The programs are designed to encourage the children to create, discover, and explore. The children maneuver throughout each program at their own pace.
The programs are highly interactive, allowing the children to develop their curiosity, problem solving, and independent thinking skills. Studies have shown that interactive learning helps the child focus longer on an activity. The combination of seeing a visual image and hearing about the image, all at the same time, helps a child to more efficiently internalize information about a topic.
Reinforcements are built in to the software to help develop confidence and a sense of achievement. This type of fun, stress-free environment has a positive influence on a child's learning potential.
Since children are known to love variety, Computers and Enrichment classes use a large array of software to keep each child coming back for more. We introduce a new software program each week. This not only keeps the children excited, but develops a sense of confidence and excitement when faced with a new program to learn. Computers and Enrichment students will never be intimidated with learning new software programs when they get to "big school".
